Welcome Back to White Fences Shows Continue the Legacy of Ingred Lin

Ingred Lin’s passion for dressage brought her to the community of White Fences in Loxahatchee Florida where she preserved the anchor of the community with her White Fences Equestrian Center. Her Welcome Back to White Fences shows are popular with trainers and their students alike where a family style laid back environment provide an opportunity to compete in a quality yet relaxed atmosphere. With Ingred’s passing last month after a long and valiant battle with breast cancer, it was unclear what would be the fate of her shows, property and horses. Ingred’s son Adam Pollak who has lived with his Mother since graduation from college in 2008 has announced the shows will continue carrying on his mother’s wishes for at least 2010.
“We have been getting many e-mail and calls asking about the status of our shows, and I want to let everyone know we are carrying on all four events scheduled in 2010, and hopefully beyond.” The website is being updated with information. Long time Florida business owner Suzie Cook mscook@myacc.net has taken over management position, and Bridget Rogers BLR369@aol.com will continue as show secretary. DressageDaily will also help assist in spreading the word. “The shows will continue to provide free food, and have the welcoming atmosphere so many of our competitors have become accustomed to.” Adam added. “There will be some tent stabling and the only real difference in management is that we will have a cut off date for entries, and not accept walk ins anymore.”Pollak admittedly does not share his mother’s passion for the horses, but has a good business sense and handle on all his mother built in the community. “This place and the shows are an anchor to this community and we are committed to continuing to bring the kind of relaxed yet competitive dressage shows which was my mother’s vision.” As for the future of Ingred’s High Performance Lucitano stallions, they remain in training at the White Fences Equestrian Center, but are for now pulled from the competition calendar. “Right now we are keeping them in full training. Of course we are considering the possibilities of selling them, but there is no concrete plan in the works at the time.”White Fences Equestrian Centerwhitefencesflorida.comAdam Pollak whitefencesfl.gmail.comSuzie Cook – mscook@myacc.netBridget Rodgers – BLR369@aol.com
