Former American Olympic team rider Steffen Peters married Shannon Barnes on his birthday September 18, 2004 in Santa Rosa, California.

The wedding took place at Fred and Peggy Furth’s Chalk Hill Winery Estate. The Peters couple just returned from their honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii.
