Lexington, KY – The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) is pleased to announce that six individuals from the United States have been appointed as officials by the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) for the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. Four U.S. officials have been appointed to serve on the Ground Juries for Dressage, Jumping, Reining, and Vaulting. They include Liselotte Fore (Santa Rosa, CA) for dressage, David Distler (Norwalk, CT) for jumping, Rick Weaver (Fairview, PA) for reining, and Suzanne Detol (Cornelius, OR) for vaulting. Richard Nicoll (Williamsburg, VA) has selected as the Course Designer for driving, while Wayne Quarles (Lexington, KY) has been appointed to the Appeals Committee as the eventing representative. “We are very proud to have six U.S. officials appointed as members of Ground Juries, a Course Designer, and an Appeals Committee member,” said USEF CEO John Long. “This is truly a prestigious honor.
