Ocita Grand Champion of Devon, Sir Sinclair Wins During Markle Day at Devon

The 5-year old Holsteiner mare Ocita became the undisputed Grand Champion of the 2004 Devon Breed Show. Handled by Hokan Thorn and owned by Shelia Davis, Ocita is a 16.2 hh mare by Love Affair out of Ines.
The 5-year old breeding stallion Sir Sinclair won the Four and Older Stallions under saddle class during Markel Day at the 2004 Devon Breed Show. Owned by Iron Spring Farm and ridden by Dorie Addy-Crow, Sir Sinclair shone as the leader in his class.
The KWPN bred stallion by Lord Sinclair x Flemmingh was well presented by Addy-Crow. The dark bay moved with much rhythm and balance and overall showed the most movement potential and bounce in the class.
Equine Insurance Company Markel was the feature sponsor on Wednesday September 29, donating ribbons and trophies for the breed classes. "We have been fourty years uninterrupted in the equine business and it’s important to us that we support horses from foal to FEI competition horse," Mary Phelps, a Markel equine insurance specialist, said.
