Live Oak International Co-President Chester Weber led the Live Oak International Parade of Nations through downtown Ocala Thursday. Crowds lined the streets to watch the procession of horse-drawn carriages, different breeds of horses, and international equestrians, with Weber, the 2018 World Equestrian Games (WEG) individual silver medalist, acting as Grand Marshal and driving the Grandview Clydesdale team.

USEF participants in the Team Challenge were honored VIP guests, bussed to and from the showgrounds, leading the parade dressed in USA gear, and treated to front row seating and VIP areas with plenty of food and drink.

As part of the festivities, Weber and his WEG teammate Misdee Wrigley-Miller were recognized by Ocala Mayor Kent Guinn for earning the first-ever U.S. Combined Driving World Championship team gold medal.

Live Oak International 2019 id host to the USEF Advanced Four-in-Hand and Advanced Pairs Combined Driving National Championships. Drivers will take on the exciting marathon phase Saturday starting at 8:30 a.m., before the nail-biting Obstacles phase on Sunday.
