With his steady rider Lars Petersen the pair were the highest placed Danish riders in both competitions, giving their country a solid chance at a team medal in the 2000 Olympic Games. Bred by F.W. Rusch from Belum, Germany, Cavan switched owners after the approval in Verden and moved to Denmark.
