A Rising Star Joins the International Equestrian Sport Group
The International Equestrian Sport Group (IES Group) is proud to announce the addition of Mathilde Blais Tetreault, a rising star in international dressage, to its roster of extraordinary athletes.
An Impressive Track Record of Achievements
Mathilde first gained international recognition in 2017 at the FEI U25 Nations Cup in Wellington, Florida, where she claimed individual gold with a stunning performance. Her success continued with standout performances at the Ottawa Dressage Festival in 2022 and 2023, where she secured top honors in the CDI 3* Grand Prix, cementing her status as one of Canada’s top riders.
A Pivotal Role in Team Canada’s Success
In 2023, Mathilde represented Team Canada at the Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile, where she played a critical role in securing a bronze medal in team dressage. This achievement also helped Canada qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics. In recognition of her exceptional talent and Olympic potential, Mathilde received the prestigious 2024 Brosda Olympic Bursary, providing vital financial support for her training and international competitions.
