Taylor Bradish: Elevating American Combined Driving

Training facilities located in Windsor, SC. Taylor Bradish brings extensive international experience training with Boyd Exell and competing for the U.S. Combined Driving Team.

A Journey Forged in Passion and Purpose

Taylor’s equestrian path began at age four, but a pivotal moment came at 16 while working for an Olympic-level dressage trainer in Flagstaff—where she was first exposed to combined driving through the trainer’s husband. At just 19, she made a bold move across the country to train at Katydid Farm in Windsor, SC—a renowned facility where she honed her skills with horses ranging from young prospects to world champions.

Rising Through the Ranks with Katydid Duchess

Taylor partnered with Katydid Duchess in 2016, beginning with training-level events and progressing to advanced and FEI competition. Their achievements include:

  • Repeating as national champions in 2021 (Garden State CDE) and 2022 (Katydid CDE at Tryon)
  • Representing the United States at the 2022 FEI Combined Driving Single Horse World Championship in Haras du Pin, France, where Taylor was the top-placing American, finishing fourth in the marathon and fifteenth overall
  • Competing again for the U.S. at the 2024 FEI Combined Driving Single Horse World Championship
  • Qualifying for and competing at the 2025 FEI Driving World Championship for Pair Horses in Beekbergen, Netherlands, as part of the U.S. Driving Team

Recognition as a Rising Star

In late 2024, Taylor was honored as the 2025 Annie Goodwin Rising Star Grant recipient—an accolade that recognized her outstanding record as a three-time USEF Advanced Single Horse National Champion and her international results at the 2022 and 2024 FEI Combined Driving Single Horse World Championships. Following the 2024 championships, her mare Katydid Duchess was acquired by world number-1 driver Boyd Exell—a testament to Taylor’s skill in producing elite-level equine athletes.
