2005 is off to a good start for Suzanne. Her two Grand Prix horses, Cooper and Kasper, had their first show in Florida in January at the "Derby Series Kickoff" show. Both horses showed in the Grand Prix, Kasper competed in his very first Grand Prix level musical freestyle ride, winning with 71.75%.

At the end of the Florida season, she and Cooper headed to Los Angeles, California for the Freestyle Championships, where they placed eighth. Her freestyle is a composition of music from "Scotland the Brave", organized by Terry Ciotti-Gallo. Suzanne said, "The stateliness of the music compliments Cooper’s elegance and power."

Cooper and Kasper both had a very successful year in the Grand Prix as both horses came into full maturity at that level. Suzanne has come to the decision that her international competitive career has come to fruition and now wants to spend more time at home with her family. She has decided to sell both Cooper and Kasper for this reason and focus her business energies on training young horses at home so that she does not have to travel as much.

“Campaigning and showing International level Grand Prix horses entails a lot more travel and time away from home than training and showing young horses,” she said.
