As a judge and as a trainer, Lamping herself continues to give back to the sport. ā€œI enjoy teaching clinics and helping people at any level, because they are so hungry to learn and appreciative,ā€ she said.

Natalie is highly respected among her peers and those who work with her in clinics and symposiums.

Adding images I have carried with me through every move, over the years.

Transitions show the quality of training. Eventually one must be able to switch gears within the gaits and between the gaits with no resistance and self carriage. In tests when you don’t perform a clear transition then the horse will fall apart. It’s just a matter of how soon. When mistakes happen it’s most likely because a transition didn’t happen several movements before and the horse is out of balance. Sometimes it’s subtle and other times very obvious. It is up to you to rectify this. When horse is in ideal balance then a movement becomes easy.
