The Dressage Foundation (TDF) is pleased to announce that this year’s $1,000 Carolyn Van Cise Fund for Michigan Youth and Young Adults grant has been awarded to Teresa Golip (MI).

Teresa is 17 years old and a member of the Midwest Dressage Association. She has been riding for nine years, five of which have been in dressage. She is currently riding and training at Training and First Levels. Teresa will use her grant funding to take additional lessons with her trainer, Kristen Murelli, and attend a clinic. Her goal is to become a more well-rounded rider and further her knowledge of dressage.

Teresa said, “I am so grateful to The Dressage Foundation for awarding me the grant from the Carolyn Van Cise Fund. Being awarded this grant means so much to me! This grant will allow me to further develop my skills by providing access to higher-level training and quality instruction. This will help me reach my goal of showing First Level!”

The Carolyn Van Cise Fund was established in 2014 in memory of Carolyn, who was active in Michigan’s dressage community for many years as a trainer, instructor, judge, and mentor.
