Wellington, FL – The Dressage Foundation is proud to announce Cassandra Barlow as the 2016 scholarship recipient for the Florida Dream Tour, which will take place in Wellington, Florida on March 14. Barlow is from Lakewood, Ohio and has extensive equestrian experience as a working student and professional groom.

“I have an immense amount of gratitude for being selected for The Dressage Foundation’s Florida Dream Tour Scholarship!” Barlow said. “I am constantly seeking new and exciting opportunities to grow in my dressage career. I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge in March.”

Barlow is currently schooling second and third level dressage movements and she plans to compete at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival in March on a few of her trainer’s client horses. She is client reception coordinator at a law firm and she works hard to balance her corporate job with her dressage training.

She, along with other program participants, will have the opportunity to visit some of Wellington’s top facilities to observe world-class dressage trainers as part of the Florida Dream Tour. The Dressage Foundation scholarship was offered thanks to the generosity of Gardy Bloemers, Wealth Management Advisor for Merrill Lynch.
