Katie Foster and Golden Charmant
Heading home after an incredible weekend competing in the National Dressage Pony Cup at Lamplight Equestrian Center!
This was my first time competing in the Pony Cup and I was so excited to bring our 4yo German Riding Pony, Golden Charmant (aka Charlie), who we bred and trained.
Not only did he do an incredible job handling the busy environment at only his fourth show, but he put in two solid performances to earn Champion for Training Level Open with an overall score of 70%!
He was also the winner in his RPSI breed class. I’m one proud breeder and rider.
Charlie is by Golden State, and out of our Premium GRP mare, Cadence.
A special thank you to the organizers who work tirelessly to put on this fabulous event, and to Lamplight for hosting!

The National Dressage Pony Cup is a great way for owners and breeders to show off their ponies!
Also, thank you to Katie Hiller for helping us during Charlie’s first awards ceremony and for cheering us on throughout the show! It’s so much more fun showing with good friends! Lastly, thank you to my sponsor Devoucoux for providing us with the most comfortable saddle that allows Charlie to perform at his best.
