The Westfalen Verband NA’s Stallion Service Auction is back for the 2025 breeding season, and what an incredible lineup of sires! With over 80 of North America’s most talented and proven stallions available, along with some remarkable up-and-coming boys, there’s a stallion to check all the right boxes for North American mare owners. This year’s auction is currently live, and bidding is available NOW through 7PM on March 9th. Lots start at reserves for Warmblood stallions at $500, Frozen Semen from $300, and Ponies begin at $250. Don’t miss an incredible opportunity to add that dream pedigree to your 2025 breeding program – several auction stallions sired top-scoring colts and fillies of 2024!

Jumping into 2025

Not only do we have long standing top sires and breeding farms returning for this year’s auction, we are excited to see some fresh home bred and imported stallions jump into the spotlight.

Add some bounce to your foal crop with some of the Westfalen’s licensed H/J sires! Top sires join the ranks from Hyperion Stud’s Olympic level sire Imothep and Chin Quidam VDL, as well as Westfalen classic Con Capilot, and stablemates Casquino and Coronado WW from Rising Star Farm. Marabet Farm’s talented and popular Bliss MF and Carry On MF join the lineup, as well as top proven stallions from Avalon Equine – Toronto, Apiro, Black Tie, Candola D, and Dante MG. Dreamscape Farm’s stunning Clinton’s Heart is up for grabs, as well as a choice between Banderas or Checkmate! We’re also proud to represent top jumper Iceman de Muze from Hilltop Farm, and I’m Special de Muze son Jethro Tull G from Elysian Equine. Don’t forget Comme il Faut son Coronet d’Honneur to round out the jumper royalty.

Of course, the list doesn’t stop there – we have young stallions with top in-the-press jumper pedigrees – Hallmark HPF (Halifax v/h Kluizebos), Potion Magique SI (Casall), and Catmandu (Grand Slam). Stallions who recently completed a performance test include 2024 NASST jumper champion Central Time, pony champion Mufasa D from Pura Vida Farms, East Coast dressage champ Segreto 66, overall reserve champion dressage Serupgaards Cezanne, and Ashland Farm’s Otamendi (Don VHP Z), to name a few! We just know there’s a stallion for everyone.

Remarkable Dressage and Sport Pony sires!

Westfalen Verband NA has combined with North America’s greatest stallion stations to offer their star-studded lineups, whether they come in full or snack size packaging! Dreamscape Farm comes hot to the table with Finnigan and Dheputy by Dauphin. Two new Floriscount sons join the auction this year – brothers Fortunato H20 and Faraday H20. The dressage line-up also includes Avalon Equine’s Sarkozy, recently imported Nechristo (Negro x Creme de la Creme/Christ/Furst Heinrich), top performer and sire Qredit from Hilltop Farm, Sunday NRW standing at Flying Change PHP and Daily Diamond and Milo B from Ashland Farm. Lord Ferragamo from Westphalians for USA has been a consistently top sire – these stallions are the real deal!

Westfalen ponies can’t be overlooked. The 2024 inspection results say enough – these ponies are small but mighty! With long standing support and passion, Branley Ash Sportponies has donated a choice of their stallions to this year’s auction including Deja dÓr, Milky Way, the exciting new Cosmopolitan D son Cool Down, Nieuwmoed’s Mr. Valentine, and the unparalleled Golden State. Also new is the memorable silver dun Tackmann’s Delicious from Elite Sportpony Imports. Stunning Welsh Cob stallions include North Forks Brenin Cardi, Castleberry’s ReFflection, Quillane Authentic & Quillane Accolade, RWC Atreyu and Halcyonia Night Life. GRP Goldjunge (Golden West NRW) is back on the list, along with Phenix (frozen only) and new this year – classic Welsh sire Telynau Royal Charger and black beauty Celton’s Tarian.

Stylish, Athletic, Versatile

Let’s not forget about those athletic and versatile stallions, either. For some eventing blood, Clair de Lune SE is available, along with fully approved TB’s Flashy Chelsey xx and Hollywood Handsome xx. Successful H/J picks from Prairie Pines Sport Horses include Long Island T and Catiago, and also from Florida, Hawksbill Farm offers Citadel VS and Oracle de Reve. Colorful choices include Roanoke Farm’s Mitril and Avalon Equine’s Sempatico, Gladiator d’Avalon and Dracula d’Avalon. Dracula is currently one of the leading eventing sires in the US rankings! If a bit of color is your style, they also stand Colorado Skrødstrup. Want guaranteed spots? Knabstrupper stallion Pax Asgard af Pegasus is also on this year’s list.
