Dunedin EDH – 16.2 2013 Imported Canadian Warmblood Gelding by Donner Bube (Donnerhall x Pik Bube) out of an Escudo mare.
Donner Bube is an excellent example of the “magic” DONNERHALL – PIK BUBE I cross that has resulted in super athletes in both Dressage and Jumping. Donnerhall was a top dressage competitor, winning medals in World and European Championships, Horse of the Year honors and acclaim as a sire – considered by many to be the best Dressage Stallion of the 20th century! Donnerhall’s sons have won Oldenburg stallion performance tests and Federal Riding Horse Championships. Of the 51 horses in the 2012 Olympics, 12 have him featured in their pedigree.
Dunedin EDH possesses talent in spades but equally as notable is his delightful personality. After entering training in October of 2022, Dunedin became part of the family. He loves to be groomed, behaves for the vet, farrier, body clipping and bathing. He loves to have Gatorade after a good workout and plays with stuffed animals in his stall.
As of March, he is schooling all Third Level movements and started the half steps. Collection comes easily to him, and he is trained classically leg-to-hand. We love him and know he will be a barn favorite.
