The British duo of Charlotte Fry and Glamourdale have taken over the number one positions in the FEI Dressage World Rankings for Athletes and Horses respectively. Following a series of solid results over recent months, Fry and Glamourdale return to the top of the global rankings, having first achieved the feat in January 2023.

Glamourdale and Fry have consistently occupied the upper tiers of the world rankings in recent years, particularly since their double victory at the FEI Dressage World Championship 2022 in Herning (DEN) and eventually becoming world number one from January to May 2023.
Incredibly Proud
“I am so incredibly proud to be the new number 1 on the FEI Dressage World Ranking! It’s an amazing achievement and this wouldn’t be possible without the amazing team around me especially the Van Olsts. After Glamourdale’s hugely successful year so far, he truly deserves this and I feel so honoured to ride him every single day. He’s just amazing”, Charlotte Fry said.
In recent months, the combination secured the title at the Les Trois Rois FEI Dressage World Cup Final 2025 in Basel (SUI) this past April, along with victories at iconic venues such as the CDIO5* in Rotterdam (NED) just days ago. They also claimed individual and team bronze medals at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Climbing the Ranks
With a total of 1,939 points, Fry has climbed from second place in the rankings, a rise mirrored by her 14-year-old black stallion Glamourdale. The previous world number one, Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour (DEN), now sits in third with 1,793 points, while Germany’s Isabell Werth moves into second with 1,851 points.
With the same number of points as his partner, Glamourdale now leads the FEI Dressage World Ranking – Horses. He is followed by Jagerbomb, Becky Moody’s (GBR) gelding, who is second on 1,737 points, and DSP Quantaz, Isabell Werth’s gelding, in third place with 1,688 points.
