Will Coleman made a resounding statement in his bid for a spot at the Paris Olympics by securing both first and third position in the fiercely contested Cosequin Lexington CCI4*-S event. This competition was a critical platform for numerous U.S. Olympic hopefuls to showcase their prowess ahead of this year’s Games.

Coleman’s remarkable performance saw him deliver flawless, double-clear rounds aboard his mounts Diabolo and Off The Record, resulting in scores just a point apart. His newest partner, “Dabs,” a 12-year-old Holsteiner, clinched the top spot with a score of 29.9, emerging as the sole horse among the 61 competitors to finish on its dressage score.

With the Paris Olympic selection on the horizon, Coleman finds himself in a favorable position, boasting two top-performing four-star contenders.

In the midst of Coleman’s impressive feat, Boyd Martin secured the second position aboard 11-year-old Holsteiner, Commando 3, with a clean show-jumping round, finishing on a score of 30.1. Martin led with his newer horse while his seasoned partner, Fedarman B, closely trailed in fourth place with a score of 32.5.
