Steffen Peters on Course for 2023 World Cup Final after Kur Victory at 2022 CDI-W Thermal

Not even one month ago, Steffen Peters (USA) took the World Cup Grand Prix Freestyle win during Desert Dressage II on 18 – 20 November, saying he believed three wins would be required to qualify for World Cup Finals in Omaha in 2023. He has another victory under his belt now from the CDI-W Thermal, riding to the win with Suppenkasper in the Grand Prix Freestyle on Saturday afternoon 17 December 2022.

Their score of 81.590% earned them the win. Second place went to Anna Buffini (USA) with the 14-year old Hanoverian Davinia La Douce (by Don Frederico x A Jungle Prince) with a score 77.460% and Claire Darnell (USA) and the 10-year old KWPN bred Harrold S (by Vivaldi x Fidermark) took third with a new personal best of 73.455%.
