The American Hanoverian Society Auction has joined with Flashpoint Bloodstock, LLC to produce an internet auction for registered Hanoverians. The auction is designed to provide a reliable auction market for American Hanoverian Society members. The American Hanoverian Society Fall Auction will be hosted at www.sporthorseauctions.com. Bidding for the auction is scheduled to open on October 20 and bidding will close on October 27. The Hanoverian Verband has a long and rich history of producing auctions where breeders and owners can market their horses. These auctions are some of the most popular and successful in Germany. “The Verband began having auctions in 1949. Many of their members rely on these auctions as their primary marketing tool,” said Tim Jennings, manager of Flashpoint Bloodstock. “The online format makes an auction available to members from across the continent.”

Entries are being accepted now for the auction at www.sporthorseauctions.com. Auction horses aged two years and older are required to have radiographs and a Pre-Sale Physical Exam. Broodmares, foals and yearlings are not required to have radiographs. Additionally, sellers will provide a pre-sale equine physical exam that will be available to prospective buyers.
