Sabine Schut Kery traveled from her home base in California to Wayne, Illinois, for the US Dressage National Championships with Sonneberg Farm’s Sonnenberg’s Jersey for an easy win in the first leg of the Intermediare 1 Championships with a 73.441%. The 10-year-old Black Stallion by Vivaldi x Olympic Ferro continues his rise on the USA leaderboard and is one of the horses for the Olympic future.

Sabine, the US Team Tokyo Olympic medalist, stayed home from Paris developing a promising string of horses, with the Dressage National Championships on her radar.

Olyvia LaGoy-Weltz ( Haymarket, Virginia) and the nine-year-old mare, Fade to Black, were second with a 70.677, topping a field of six talented hopefuls traveling from across the country for the iconic annual event.
