The first day of dressage competition was the Young Rider Team Test and awards, and opening ceremonies. Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein president of the FEI and first sitting President to visit the NAJYRC gave an inspiring welcome to all the Young Riders. It was a rainy day at the Kentucky Horse Park, but it did not dampen the spirits of competitors, officials, and once again for Dressage, Region 7 (California) ruled!
