Scott Brash and Hello Annie, already winners of a class in Cannes fifteen days ago, keep on shinning on the show grounds. To win the Prix Sapinda, today’s competition against the clock at the Jumping International of Monte-Carlo, seemed like a formality for the world number one and his mare.

“Hello Annie was fantastic. She was second on the first day in the big class. To get a win in the last day is really good, I’m really pleased, she did an amazing week-end.” Scott Brash wins for almost two seconds ahead of his mentor, John Whitaker (Ornellaia), winner of a class yesterday, the 59 years-old British legend is feeling really good. Scott Brash is still admirative and respectful of the longevity of his compatriot.

“John’s been wonderful for our sport. He has won everything there is to win. He is still hungrier than ever still to win more. So he is a great role model for everyone growing up. He is a wonderful man, he is a fantastic rider and you can always learn a lot of just watching him riding.”

Scott Brash, winner of the first Global Champions Tour leg in Miami in April, will surely have in mind to win the Grand Prix du Prince de Monaco tonight to add it to his stunning track record.
