In the Movie business, they call it "Magic Hour". The best time of day (when it’s not raining) to take photos is sunrise and sunset. We can extend this for assignments and at shows from 8-10 and 3-5. During "Magic Hour" you get the golden light. The worpst time is at high noon when the sun is lighting your subject from directly overhead. Caroline King and her pony Fancy.Taken during "Magic Hour"
