Opening Date for the Ark's YEH/FEH Event

The Ark, in Monroe, North Carolina (Area II), will be hosting Area II’s first Spalding Labs/USEA Young Event Horse and USEA Future Event Horse events of 2010. Today marks the opening date for this event, which will be held on February 26-28, so get your entries in early–the YEH/FEH classes are limited to the first 20 entries.
Event details:Fees: $75 for Young Event Horse; $50 for Future Event Horse$50 Grounds Fee – $15 (waived for yearly pass holders and stabled horses) Stabling: Thursday night – $40 (includes 2 bags of shavings, special Thursday night $25 rate for horses laying over for the weekend or competing in the horse trials.)Dress: casual (medical armbands, helmets, heeled boots, and collared shirts required; vests recommended for the jumping phase) Boots and Braiding: braiding optional; boots and bandages not allowed during confirmation inspection or dressageJudge: Charlie Musco (NC) Times: Based on entries, the YEH/FEH competition will be held on either Friday or Sunday – contact the organizer for more info or check The Ark’s website for times.Directions & Organizer Contact Information: Please refer to The Ark’s Omnibus listing or contact organizer Abbey Dondanville at lecoeurtriste@earthlink.net
