Today, Thursday, August 2, the FEI World Breeding Championships for Young Dressage Horses begins in Verden, Germany. Last year, Emmelie Scholtens captured the Championship for the third consecutive time. In the six-year-old division, the KWPN stallion Astrix claimed the champion sash, as he did in 2010. And in the five-year-old division, Emmelie was awarded the bronze medal for her performance with the KWPN stallion Bretton Woods.
