2025 Garden State Combined Driving Event – USEF

The 2025 Garden State Combined Driving Event, held at the Horse Park of New Jersey in Allentown, hosted the Garden State Combined Driving Junior Preliminary Championships. The exhibition Youth Divisions demonstrated the growing strength of the future of the sport in America.
Blessed with ideal weather, the perfect setting showcased the talents of young riders and horses. The event featured two Junior Exhibition Divisions: Youth Training, with four entries, and Youth Preliminary, with six entries. The Youth Preliminary was a Championship Class, with the Garden State Youth Preliminary Championship ultimately won by Ben Riesse. In a memorable family moment, Quinn Riesse secured the Youth Training title.
The show also featured a strong representation of VSEs (Ver Small Equines, also known as Mini’s), with a total of nine entries across the Training, Preliminary, and Intermediate divisions.
Additionally, the event offered a Combined Test (CT) and a Combined Driving Event (CDE), which together attracted a total of 60 entries. Overall, the weekend proved to be a successful celebration of the next generation of riders and ponies, fostering growth and enthusiasm within the sport.
