FEI International Show Jumping Competition in Lipica Concludes

With five final competitions the Lipica event is coming to an end. It has been a successful one; the competitors were good; most of them are the top of the countries they represent. Slovenians are satisfied too as in Grand Prix test Primož Rifelj on Dashmir B was third. Patrick Nisbett from Bermuda was the winner on Cantaro and Austrian Simon Johann Zuchi on Apollo v. Pachern was second.

A Silver test was very interesting as the results were so close; there were 6 competitors in less than a second.  Italian Luisa Bonatti on Viona de Wijnendale was the first, Patrick Lam on Jockey Club Tilburg from Hongkong was secont and Italian Rebecca Bianchi on Lacaletto.In Bronze Test the winner was Patrick Lam from Hongkonga on Urbanu, the second was Patrick Nisbett from Bermuda on Count Alaric and German Joerne Sprehe on Kara Luna the third.

In a test for Junior Grand Prix three Slovenian riders were qualified for European Competition that will take place in Jardy, France, between 13th and 18th of July.In a Test for Young Horses Slovenian Tomaž Laufer on Linea Tequila was the winner, German Joerne Sprehe on Independence second and Hungarian Gyula Szuhai the third.Laufer says that quality of Slovenian riders has been improving in last years; as well through such competitions as this one was.Photos: The final competition in Grand Prix test and competitors scaning the parcour before the competitions.
