Ferrer-Salat won the Big Tour during the first week of competition out of three at the 2008 Sunshine Tour CDI at Montenmedio Equestrian Centre in Vejer de la Frontera, Spain.Aboard Faberge (by Fabriano) she won the Intermediaire II, Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special and her second Grand Prix horse Peter Pan (by Gribaldi) followed high in the rankings. Very peculiar judging on the first day led to overcorrection on the second. Swedish Junior rider Sara Henriette Bergstrom Kallstrom and young rider Lotje Schoots were the big winners of the kur to music. Bergstrom Kallstrom, who is a student of Jan Brink, impressed aboard her gorgeous chestnut gelding Garcia (by Bernstein).
