In keeping with a long time Young Rider tradition which began at Tempel Farm years ago, the 2011 NAJYRC held at the Kentucky Horse Park kicked off this week’s competition and fun stuff with a competitors’ party and golf cart parade at the beautiful Spy Coast Farm. OK, so there are no more golf cart “races” which did create a liability issue in the past. The California girls dressed up official Dressage Judge Janet Foy and FEI Vet Dr. Mike Tomlinson as their state’s cash crop, a bottle of white and a bottle of red. I missed the party, but feel free to send me photos and I will post a selection mary@horsesdaily.com. I lifted this one off of Janet’s Facebook Page.
