Clayton Fredericks is Back in the Saddle After Fall at Saumur

29 May, 2012 – Clayton Fredericks is back in the saddle after being released from hospital in France over the weekend.  The Australian eventer suffered a fall on the cross-country course at Saumur CCI*** in France on 19 May.  His horse Be My Guest, “Lottie”, trod on his stomach.

Clayton arrived home yesterday evening and was out riding with his wife Lucinda this morning (29 May). He said he was “feeling fit and well and looking forward to the run up to London”. He also thanked all his friends and fans for their “incredible support and kindness” over the past few weeks.Clayton will be going to Renswoude in the Netherlands to compete in the CIC*** between 7–10 June.Then it’s off to Luhmühlen (14-17 June), where Bendigo is entered in the CIC*** and Walterstown Don will be gunning for Olympic qualification in the CCI****.
