had double Grand Prix wins during the weekend competition at the Wellington Classic Dressage Spring Challenge CDI-W/Y/J, held Feb. 12-14 at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center. The pair took the win on the opening day CDI Grand Prix for the Freestyle with a score of 70.596 to edge past second-place finishers Pierre St. Jacques and Lucky Tiger with their score of 69.660. Coming in third was Sue Jaccoma and Wadamur with a score of 68.213. Konyot and Calecto came back on Saturday to take the win in the Grand Prix Freestyle with a score of 72.150 percent.

Melissa Taylor and Schumacher Solyst followed behind in second with a score of 69.800, while Jaccoma and Wadamur repeated their third-place position with a score of 69.650. The high score of the opening day went to Heather Blitz riding the seven-year-old Danish Warmblood Paragon to a score of 76.842 in Open FEI Prix St. Georges competition. In Saturday’s FEI Grand Prix de Dressage, it was Canadians at the top. Ashley Holzer and Pop Art took the win with a score of 72.170 percent. Following them in second was fellow Canadian Belinda Trussell riding Anton to a score of 67.574. Third place went to American rider Todd Flettrich with Otto and a score of 67.319. The placing repeated themselves for Sunday’s Grand Prix Special.
