On Wednesday night, it was another exciting night of talent during the final week of auditions for America’s Equestrians Got Talent at the White Horse Tavern in Wellington, Florida. Contestants consisted again of singers trying for the Wild Card position and several variety acts, including a tap dancer, a fire baton twirler, a pair of hip hop dancers, and a duet of singers. After the first round, the audience voted for the tapper, the duet, and the baton twirler for the second round.

The audience declared the Frances Novella, the twirler, and Andre Lussier, the tapper, tied and made the judges determine the winner. Judges Leslie Streeter from the Palm Beach Post, Randese Lioni, former Broadway performer Xavier Garcia, a Palm Beach Opera singer, and Chrystine Tauber, USEF President, determined that the tap dancing should advance to the Finale to be held Sunday, March 20, at the Global Dressage Facility in Wellington, Florida. Robert was then able to pick two additional Wild Cards to advance also to the final round. His first choice was tonight’s runner-up, Frances Novella, and a performer who had been on the stage several times in past weeks, violinist Juliana Aughey.

Remember that now that we have the complete lineup for contestants, everyone can start voting NOW for their favorite performer! To give each performer a slight advantage coming into the finale, the number of votes and the amount of money collected will be part of their score. The remainder of their score will be computed using the point totals on the judge’s scorecards.

The seven judges for the Finale will be winner of 4 Golden Globe Awards, 7 Screen Actors Guild Awards, nominated for Academy Awards, Movie and TV Star, Alfre Woodard; Entertainment attorney for the late, great James Brown and Manager for Led Zeplin, Miles Davis, Muddy Waters, as well as an artist with paintings hanging in museums around the world, Ashwood Kavanna; American Idol top 8 finalist from season 5, toured with One Direction and has new album out this month, Felippe Biatti; Founder of BMF Media and “Chief Buzz Officer”, Brian Feit has launched the careers of literally the who’s who of today’s entertainment world including Lady Gaga; CEO of Equestrian Sport Production and creative force behind the Wellington Equestrian Festival, Global Dressage Festival, Tryon International Jumping and Dressage venue, and Colorado Horse Park, Mark Bellissimo; Executive Producer of AEGT and owner of Hampton Green Farm, Kim Boyer; and former head coach for Notre Dame and the New England Patriots, AEGT Honorary Chairman, Charlie Weis.
