by Diana De Rosa David appeared cool, calm and collected after his dressage ride in which he stood second to Australians Andrew Hoy as the 10th out of a total of 47 riders to go in the Three-Day Team competition. O’Connor had two small mistakes in his ride. He was late on a lead change and he moved before he backed. Just before O’Connor entered the main arena he was warming up in the schooling area when his horse spooked at something and would not go into one end of the arena. "That’s not what you want to happen just before you go into the ring to compete," noted O’Connor, who was pleased with his ride despite the mistakes. Read more…
