Lexington, KY – In the lead-up to the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games a Preparation Event will be held for the Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team at Great Meadow in The Plains, VA, July 26-27. United States-based eventing combinations named to the Squad or as alternates will demonstrate their continued preparation, soundness and ability by competing at the event.

Great Meadow has hosted CCI2* events in the past in addition to running the International and the Virginia Gold Cup, polo and Twilight Jumpers. Dressage and show jumping will be held on Saturday, with cross country running on Sunday. Information regarding a Preparation Event for European-based eventing combinations will be published as it becomes available.
