Kristina Sprehe and Desperados On Top at the 2015 CDI Munich
Tuesday, May 19, 2015 | Mary Phelps
Germany’s Kristina Sprehe and her 2014 WEG individual bronze medal winning stallion Desperado were unbeatable in the 5* Grand Prix class held at the 2015 CDI Munich on Friday 15 May 2015. After winning the CDI’s in Dortmund and Hagen, Sprehe is continuing her string of success and has become Germany’s number one GP pair after the ending of the parternship between Helen Langehanenberg and Damon Hill. As Isabell Werth is post-poning her come back with Bella Rose until the 2015 German Championships in Balve, which are Germany’s first mandatory selection trial for the 2015 European Championship, Sprehe and Desperados (by De Niro) have free reign to win it all.
In Munich they scored 76.52% but the combination had the judges quite puzzled over their ride as the scores ranged from 73.300 to 79.300%. Sprehe’s score was also lowered as she had gone off course.
