USA Driving

Combined driving is designed to test a driver's ability & the horse(s)' obedience, speed and athleticism, in three demanding phases with a carriage in tow: Driven Dressage, Marathon & Cones. The sport, conceptualized by HRH Prince Phillip, is modeled after the mounted equestrian discipline of three-day eventing or, the human equivalent of a triathlon. It is an international sport, governed by the FEI, Federation Equestrian Internationale. The USEF, United States Equestrian Federation is a member of the FEI fielding teams to compete in the Single, Pair, Four-In-Hand and Pony World Championships.

While combined driving is a technical and demanding sport, it can be enjoyed by people of any age, and with any breed of horses or ponies.
