The Inaugural Katydid CDE at TIEC presented by Main Street Insurance debuted at Tryon International Equestrian Center and Resort (TIEC) after a 2020 cancellation, welcoming a robust number of entries for the CAI 2* and national competition alongside the USEF Advanced Pony and Intermediate Combined Driving National Championships.

Held on the course that was built for the FEI World Equestrian Games 2018, this event will attract some of the country's top drivers and horses eager to test their skills on the challenging course designed by FEI Course designer Marc Johnson.

The location for the epic Driving Team Gold medal for the USA is now added to the US Driving Calendar!

“I felt that we (Thompson and Funnominial CG) had our best dressage test yet”, said Thompson, a full time veterinarian, traveling long distances to compete at the highest level in Combined Driving. “The horse seems to be coming along well, developing both physically and mentally in the marathon.
