It was a wire-to-wire win for Germany’s Michael Jung and fischerChipmunk FRH, who set a new record for a winning score in the CCI5*-L at the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event.

He's back! After not making the trip to compete at the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event since 2018, Michael Jung's return to Kentucky showed everyone exactly why he’s won the five-star in the bluegrass three different times.

Dressage day one in the CCI5*-L at the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event ended on Thursday afternoon. There were 21 pairs who competed in front of judges Nick Burton, Gretchen Butts, and Christian Steiner.

The Kentucky Three-Day Event Volunteers are the backbone of this legendary weekend! Their decades of experience, commitment to the event, and passion are what keeps this machine well oiled.

It snowed, no spectators allowed, but the prestigious Kentucky Event is underway with Eventing Supers Stars. This year’s event is able to take place thanks to the financial support of fans, sponsors, and the Kentucky Horse Park Foundation.

A fundraising campaign was started by athletes and fueled by the grassroots effort of the broader eventing community, generating more than $550,000 in donations to run the event. “While that still leaves us short of the amount needed, it is enough to convince us that the balance can be raised,” added Cooper. “We are now, with the assistance of the Kentucky Horse Park Foundation, committed to going forward with the Five Star.”

Lexington, Ky. – US Equestrian, the national governing body for equestrian sport in the United States, hosted an official grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly-completed, state-of-the-art headquarters located at the Kentucky Horse Park. The new building will provide a collaborative work space for more than 155 employees and service the organization’s 145,000 members, 11 breeds, 18 disciplines, and 20 affiliates. As part of the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee family, the building proudly displays the official designation of the Olympic rings and the Paralympic symbol, and is located directly inside the main entrance at the iconic Kentucky Horse Park.
