Carl Hester at the 2016 olympics

Carl Hester MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire), the man who has single-handedly changed the face of dressage in Great Britain and around the world.

A 5-time Olympic veteran, he was an integral part of Great Britain winning their first-ever Team Gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics, and the Team silver at the 2016 Games in Rio, where he also was the trainer to the other three team members. Can you imagine!

Great successes at various European and World Championships over the years have added an additional Gold, 5 Silvers and a Bronze medal to his growing collection, and the Bronze medal he most recently won at this year’s FEI World Cup Final in Omaha.

He is a true horseman who has won an abundance of national titles in his homeland and trained numerous horse and riders to the top, including the legendary Valegro and his student Charlotte Dujardin. His plethora of distinguished awards are highlighted by a ‘Most Excellent Order of the British Empire’ (MBE) from Queen Elizabeth, and the prestigious ‘Medal of the Spanish Equestrian School of Vienna,’ an honor awarded for riding according to the principles of Classical horsemanship.
