Sir Sinclair is the sire of dozens of Grand Prix dressage winners. He stamps his offspring with wonderful temperaments, ease in collection and lengthening, and fantastic trainability.
Sir Sinclair is one of the most prolific sires of FEI dressage horses worldwide. He has been ranked the #1 USEF Dressage Sire for six consecutive years, 2015-2020. Sir was also awarded the prestigious Keur predicate by the KWPN for his excellence as a sire, and won the Get of Sire class six times at historic Dressage at Devon.
Sir Sinclair has sired numerous Grand Prix horses, including Dee Clair, Caymus, Cantata, Con Brio SDF, Zuperman, William, Air Marshall, Warina, Westerstorm and Zania. Dozens of his sons and daughters are competing at the FEI level around the world. He is the sire of one Approved stallion and two licensed sons, as well as many Star and Keur mares.
His offspring have earned illustrious championships, including the US Dressage Finals Grand Prix Championship (William), Reserve National Grand Prix Champion at the US Festival of Champions (Dee Clair) and World Equestrian Games (WEG) team gold and individual silver medals in combined driving (Whooper). Other impressive titles earned by Sir’s sons and daughters include first place in CDI3* Grand Prix classes, numerous USDF Horse of the Year and USDF All Breeds Horse of the Year Awards at FEI level, GAIG/USDF Regional Championships, KWPN-NA Championships, and so much more.
In 2020, Sir’s offspring had an extraordinary showing at the GAIG/USDF Regional Championships. Caymus was the Region 3 Grand Prix Champion with a 70.38%. William claimed Grand Prix and Grand Prix Freestyle Reserve Championships in Region 6. Con Brio SDF was the Intermediate II Reserve Champion in Region 2. Choochoo Charlie earned the Intermediate I Championship in Region 4.
In 2019, 74 Sir offspring earned more than 9,800 USEF dressage points. Twenty-three sons and daughters competed at FEI, including six at Grand Prix. Dee Clair won the reserve national grand prix champion title at the US Festival of Champions. Ten Sir offspring were named champion or reserve champion at the GAIG/USDF Regional Championships, and four finished in the top ten at the US Dressage Finals.
Sir Sinclair’s own athletic ability was obvious at an early age. He placed in the Top Ten in the prestigious PAVO Cup in the Netherlands before being imported to the United States. He claimed the Markel/USEF Six-Year Old Championship and the Markel/USEF Five-Year-Old Reserve Championship, and represented the United States at the World Young Horse Championships in Verden, Germany. He continued moving up the levels to Prix St. Georges and Developing Horse classes with scores as high as 72%. Sir successfully schooled and showed great talent for Grand Prix.
Sir Sinclair’s bloodlines are top notch. His sire, Lord Sinclair, won his Stallion Performance test, the silver medal at the World Young Dressage Horse Championships in Verden, and the German Young Horse Championships in Warendorf with top scores. He was considered a top-level dressage stallion and competed through Prix St. Georges. This incredible dressage talent was passed on to his offspring, including more than 20 Approved sons.
Sir Sinclair’s dam, Krishna, is a Star, Sport, Preferent and Prestatie mare. She is by Flemmingh, Preferent, the sire of Lingh and Krack C.
