Ovation is a 2009, Oldenburg-NA stallion,16.2+ hands, and a huge, elastic mover with a sweet personality. He had the highest dressage score at his stallion inspection, holds multiple Regional and annual Horse of the Year awards, as of 8/30/18, he was 6th at USDF 4th level open, and has been top 6 at 3rd level as well. He is winning championships at Prix St Georges, has scores as high as the mid-80's, and routinely scores 9 on gaits and lateral movements, without any maintenance. He has always gone barefoot. He won USDF HOY 3rd level Freestyle with a 76.00%. A proven siren, he is leading USDF DSHB Mature Stallion Champion once again in 2018 and has won Regional Finals. Next season, Ovation is more than ready to start the 'tour' to Grand Prix with a professional or amateur rider. He is a pure joy to ride. We use him in lessons with beginner and advanced riders alike. He is easy to sit in all gaits for all riders. He is a gentleman and definitely an international quality mover that few horses anywhere can match. Ovation’s sire, Opus by Olympic Idocus, is Dutch registered and ISR/Oldenburg approved. He was 2006 USDF #1 Dressage Breeding Sire (2nd in 2005 and 2004), # 1 NA/WPN Dressage Breeding Sire for both USDF and USEF since 2004, and # 1 Producer of ISR/Oldenburg Premium Mares and Horse of the Year winners since 2005. Opus received a dressage score of 140.59 at his stallion testing, one of the highest ever. He received the only 9 given in the gaits category (by all 4 judges), and one of only two 10's given in ridability! Opus has won 2nd place four times at Dressage at Devon and qualified to 3rd level by 5 years old. Ovation’s dam, Windspiel (Weltmeyer x St Pr Argronomia/Argentan/Pik Koenig), is a St Pr and Elite Hanoverian mare with a world-class pedigree. She is by the legendary Weltmeyer and out of a St Pr mare by Argentan. Windspiel was USDF HOY at training through 3rd level with her amateur owner – every level shown before her broodmare career.
