Hilltop Farm is excited to welcome Lisa & Howard Smith’s young stallion Frisantos to our 2019 Stallion Roster! This eye-catching young stallion brings a fresh pedigree, modern type, and excellent potential for sport to secure his spot in our program. Frisantos was licensed in Germany and completed his 14-day test earning 9’s for his character and work ethic.
Frisantos sire is the highly popular Franziskus who is currently competing at Grand Prix with Ingrid Klimke and descends from an established line of Grand Prix horses. His dam, the States Premium mare Esprina, adds a valuable and versatile pedigree that provides a needed fresh outcross for many of today’s mares. Her oldest offspring are competing well in dressage and she is already the granddam to two approved stallions. Esprina’s sire Espri was the 1995 Hanoverian Stallion of the Year and has sired Olympic competitors in both show jumping and dressage.
Frisantos is already licensed AHS, GOV, and Westfalen. We are excited to develop him in sport under Michael Bragdell as well as offer him to our breeders as a new and interesting choice for their breeding programs.
