Wood’s Lane Farm is excited to announce our ‘2016 Pay it Forward Program’. We have chosen 3 charitable organizations from which mare owners may choose to have Wood’s Lane Farm donate the $300.00 Booking Fee of either Regazzoni or Romancero H.

The organizations are Puppies Behind Bars, Shriners Hospital for Children, and Twilight Wish. We have chosen these organizations because of their responsible accounting of donations. A minimum of 77% of every dollar goes directly to the programs.

Puppies Behind Bars trains prison inmates to raise service dogs for wounded war veterans and explosive detection canines for law enforcement. As the puppies develop over 24 months, their raisers learn what it means to contribute to society, rather than take from it. The dogs bring hope and pride to their raisers, and independence and security to those they serve.

Shriners Hospital for Children has a mission to: 1) Provide the highest quality care to children with neuromuscularskeletal conditions, burn injuries and other special healthcare needs in a compassionate, family centered and collaborative care environment; 2) Provide for the education of physicians and other healthcare professionals; and 3) Conduct research to discover new knowledge that improves the quality of care and quality of life of children and families. Shriners Hospitals for Children provides all care, including surgery, regardless of the patient or families ability to pay.

Twilight Wish has a mission to honor and enrich the lives of deserving seniors though wish granting celebrations that connect generations, acknowledging seniors for all they have given to others by bringing comfort and joy into their lives.

It is our desire to be able to make a difference. We have chosen a diverse range of organizations, allowing the mare owner the flexibility of choosing an organization that is important to their values. Splitting of the $300.00 to go to more than one organization is also an option.

It is our hope that the mare owners who choose to breed to one of Wood’s Lane Farm’s stallions will help us achieve that. Please go to the individual organization’s website (www.shrinershospitalforchildren.org , www.puppiesbehindbars.com, and www.twilightwish.org ) to learn more of how our donations will help.
