Winter Circuit Results Intensify North American League Rankings

Annville, PA -  The excitement and drive to earn valuable points is heightening as the 2015 North American League (NAL) season rounds its mid-way point. The winter circuits are well under way which has sparked intense competition as riders work toward their goal of riding in the NAL final next fall.
The North American League (NAL) offers great opportunities for competitors across the country to compete in five divisions including Children's Hunter, Adult Hunter, Children's Jumper presented by EquiFit, Adult Jumper presented by SmartPak and Low Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumper presented by UltrOZ.Riders and horses compete all year long in order to qualify for the NALNational Finals at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show in October and the NAL West Coast Finals at the Las Vegas National Horse Show in November.
The NAL qualifying period runs from September 1 through August 31. Riders do not need to be members of the NAL to compete in the qualifying classes, however points are awarded only for current members. Annual memberships are $40 per rider. Joining the NAL is the best way to assure that you get the points you need to reach the Finals!
As of February 27, Shaye E. Coe of Versailles, KY and Heartbreaker lead the Children's Hunter division with 1145 points.  In second place is Austin May of Pappahannock Academy, VA and What'd I Say with 941 points, while and Bianca Jenkins of Los Alamitos, CA and Diplomat hold third place with 930 points.
Leading the Children's Jumper standings, presented by EquiFit, with 2361 points is Anna Claire Smith of Atlanta, GA and her mount Bilbo Baggins. Anderson Wagner from Wellington, FL and Thunderball are in second place after collecting 2163 points, while Sienna Partipilo of Chicago, IL and her ride Alanda are in third with 1790 points.
Jacquelyn Maggiore of South Boston, MA and Contina stand in first place with 970 points in the Adult Hunter division, while Mindy Wurzburg of Memphis, TN, and Overseas are in second with 864 points. Mary Grossman from Burlington, WI is in third place aboard Benvolio with 818 points.
Lindsey Tomeu and Bonapart lead the Adult Jumper standings, presented by SmartPak, on an impressive 4165 points. Lying in second place is Maxine (Star) Schatten of Franklin, TN and Wup L with 3002 points, while Dean Dignelli and Redefin of Katonah, NY lie in third place with2370 points.
Leading the Low Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumper standings, presented by UltrOZ, is Sheer Levitin of Delray Beach, FL and Nabuco with 4055 points. In second place is Christina Firestone from Wellington, FL who earned 2695 points with Zodiac, followed by Reid Patton of Nashville, TN and Tissem in third place on 2078 points.
The rankings in the West Coast divisions are also highly competitive with the numbers on the rise. In the West Coast Children's Hunter division, Bianca Jenkins of Los Alamitos, CA leads the rankings aboard Diplomat with 930 points. In second place is Annabel Briggs from Austin, TX and Cavalli with 726 points, while Grace Gambel of Metairie, LA and Land Rover are in third place with 468 points.
Raegan Rast of Stilwell, KS leads the West Coast Children's Jumper standings, presented by EquiFit, on 992 points with Clarissa Z, while Anna Beth Athey of Enid, OK and her horse HH Nurcos Du Marais are in second place with an even 600 points. Isabella Baxter of Wright City, MO and Keystone earned 467 points and hold third place.
In the West Coast Adult Hunter division, Mary Grossman of Burlington, WI and Benvolio lead the standings on 818 points, while Samantha Sommers of Thousand Oaks, CA and Carinja 14 claim second on 795 points. Susan Schmitt of Oconomowoc, WI and her mount Connelleyare inthird place with 665 points.
Ali Randall of Scottsdale, AZ and Red White & Blue lead the West Coast Adult Jumper division, presented by SmartPak, by a significant amount on 1759 points, while Emily Straw-Colella of Overland Parks, OK holds second place with Filibuster on 560 points. Sharon Gordon of Mt Calvary, WI is in third place with her horse Interstellar, with 513 points.
Megan Hilton of Seattle, WA has had a successful year thus far and holds both first and second places in the West Coast Low Junior/Amateur-Owner standings, presented by UltrOZ. She is in first place aboard Washington with 1799 points, and second place with 680 pointson Roxy De Virton. Emma Roberts of Houston, TX holds third place with Pinto Bean on 637 points.
