Wins for Tina Konyot and Lauren Sammis in Saugerties

Tina Koyot and Calecto V claimed both the Grand Prix and the Freestyle at Centerline at HITS on the Hudson World Cup qualifier while Lauran Sammis and Sagacious HF in only their second competition since taking a year off won the Grand Prix Special. Tina of Palm City, Florida, and the 13-year-old Danish Warmblood stallion by Come Back II who were on the U.S. team at the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky last year, scored 69.532 per cent to win the Grand Prix. Lauren and her Dutch warmblood Sagacious, 2007 Pan American Games team gold and individual silver medalists, won the Grand Prix Special with a score of 69.521 per cent with Arlene Page of Wellington, Florida, on Wild One second on 65.333 per cent and Susan Dutta of Wellington on Manette DC third on 64.354 per cent.
