Nancy enjoys the winter months as resident trainer at WindSong Farms Equestrian Center. The brand new facility, built and owned by Lori and Warren Wubker, is state-of-the art in equine safety and comfort. The 28-stall barn has large, airy 12x12 stalls with pillow-like footing, automatic fly sprayers, automatic waterers and large aisle ways.
The feed and tack rooms are air-conditioned and include oversized wooden lockers with pull-out drawers, cabinets and spacing which allows dressage saddles to slide in easily without disruption of other tack and supplies. There is even a placeholder for dressage whips to prevent bending.
The oversized social room has a full kitchen, dining area and 52” flat screen television for family members and friends. Two large gorgeous bathrooms equipped with showers complete the space.
There are two large arenas – one covered, measuring 120x200 with amazing sand and seashell footing (coquina). The outdoor arena can be seen and enjoyed from the social room. There are ample outdoor wash racks and one indoor wash rack as well. Security and safety are foremost and the facility is gated. Many pastures are maintained and rotated to ensure amazing Florida grass grazing year round. The center is managed by an experienced equestrian who cares for each and every horse as if it were her own.
