Wellington, FL – The Wellington 5* CDI, presented April 4-7 at Global Dressage Festival showgrounds at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center, is one of the most intensely competitive weeks of Florida's Adequan Global Dressage Festival, testing horses and riders to dig deep to find the champion within. The Wellington Wellness Institute 'Rider Wellness Award' recognizes the importance of fitness from the inside and out, and saw a five-star role model in Melissa Taylor of Legacy Farms. “If we consider our horses have to be athletes, then we have to be athletes, too,” said Taylor, who has been in Florida with partner Danish Olympian Lars Petersen while he campaigns Mariett. “Honestly, riding eight to ten horses a day keeps me fit.”As for her horses in tiptop shape: “None are kept in stalls all day. Everyone is out two to three times a day, and our top show horses are out three times. Once ridden, twice for hand-walks, lungeing, treadmill, or whatever is needed. My one horse, Chico, is coming up to Grand Prix, and I have three five year-olds that are really top quality, especially one who shows the talent for Grand Prix.”
“Our Rider Wellness Award package will be perfect for keeping up with a busy schedule and supporting the mental and physical energy it demands,” said award sponsor and founder of The Wellington Wellness Institute, Dr. Jennine Cabanellas. In addition to a 15% off any of
The Wellington Wellness Institute’s services, the Anti-Aging package included multi-vitamins, high grade fish oil and supplements to optimize energy, mental acuity, and weight loss. The Wellington Wellness Institute offers Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement to replenish hormones using the same molecular structure as those uniquely produced by a client’s own body. Research shows that athletes burn through horomones and supplements at a much higher rate than non-athetes, and The Wellington Wellness Institute’s services are one way to help athletes perform at their peak. They currently manage the aging process of more than 300 pro and amateur athletes, 16 Olympians, and sevetal C-suite individuals.
“It is a natural, holistic rejuvenation you have to experience to believe,” says Dr. Cabanellas, who invites riders to discover her carefully researched course to a younger you inside. Located just steps from the major showgrounds in the heart of Wellington, The Wellington Wellness Institute services include aesthetic medicine using external rejuvenation, i.e., botox, fillers and lasers; internal rejuvenation with Anti-Aging medicine including Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement, as well as customized nutritional supplement regimes and medical weight loss programs.
