US Equestrian Driving Sport Committee Updates - June 2022

The Driving Sport Committee continues to serve the combined driving community by dedicating their time and efforts to overseeing the following governance responsibilities:
- Reviewed and approved various Emerging Driver Program grants
- Reviewed and approved various Licensed Officials travel grants
- Reviewed 2023 revisions to the Licensed Officials Policies & Procedures
- Collaborated with Heather Briggs, U.S. representative serving on the FEI Driving Committee
- Reviewed and commented on USEF general rule change proposals
- In process of finalizing a new Intermediate Singles Driven Dressage Test that will improve the progression from the Intermediate division to the new Novice Advanced or FEI 2* singles level
- Reviewed applicant feedback and recommended Suzy Stafford as Singles Coach for the FEI Driving World Championship for Single Horses
- Reviewed the budget for FEI Driving World Championships
- Approved 2023 National Championship bid document and qualification criteria for athletes/equines
