Tryon Fall CDE Host USEF Combined Driving National Championships for Horses

The 2025 USEF Combined Driving National Championships kicked off on Thursday, Sept. 18, at Tryon International. The championship divisions for horses at the training, preliminary, intermediate, and advanced levels are taking place as part of the 2025 Tryon Fall CDE and run through Sunday, Sept. 21.

The following national championships will be awarded this week:

Training Single Horse
Training Pair Horse
Preliminary Single Horse
Preliminary Pair Horse
Intermediate Single Horse
Advanced Single Horse
Advanced Four-in-Hand Horse

After the completion of the horse inspection for FEI entries on Thursday morning, the competition began with dressage on Thursday afternoon, which included the entries in the advanced single horse division. Dressage will continue on Friday starting at 9:00 a.m. ET, including the remaining national championship divisions.

The marathon phase for all divisions takes place on Saturday on the Marc Johnson-designed course at Tryon’s renowned White Oak cross-country course. Competition concludes with Sunday’s cones phase and the presentation of awards.
