West Palm Beach, FL (November 16, 2009) – Tracey Winter and her Trakehner/Thoroughbred Martailo showed off their moves in the Grand Prix ring at the Gold Coast Fall Fling show, but it was Martailo’s thick and wavy black tail that helped them win the TailRx “Best Tail Award” at the show. Winter and Martailo were awarded a TailRx prize basket filled with products at the Gold Coast Dressage Association’s kickoff winter dressage show held at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center. Winter, who owns Tranquility Dressage in Lake Worth, Florida, raised Martailo from the time he was five months old and trained him herself through the Grand Prix level.

Martailo has a long list of accomplishments to his name, including being named the 2008 Gold Coast Dressage Association Year-End Open Grand Prix Champion and the 2008 Year-End Trakehner Champion. In 2009, Martailo was awarded the Trakehner Verband Award, donated by the German Trakehner Verband for the most successful Trakehner in dressage.

Winter, who is a USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medalist, was pleased to win the TailRx “Best Tail Award.” “My normal routine for Martailo’s tail is to not over brush it and to just pick it out,” she said. “I  do brush the top everyday to stimulate the blood flow and keep it nice and healthy.”

Mary Brunetti, founder of TailRx, said Winter would definitely be able to brush Martailo’s tail in the future thanks to the wonder of TailRx. “TailRx adds volume and makes the tail three times as strong within the first use,” Brunetti said. “TailRx also keeps the scalp in such tip top shape and so healthy that it can’t help but grow good hair because it starts at the follicle first.”

Brunetti, an award-winning celebrity hair stylist, developed TailRx and the product has revolutionized how horse owner’s care for their horse’s manes and tails. “TailRx is an easy to administer three-step treatment and all horse owners need to do is follow the simple 5-minute application routine,” Brunetti said.  “Horse owners they can expect noticeable improvements from TailRx in the first week and then expect thicker, stronger and longer hair in just a few months.”

A recent article in Lucky magazine described the product’s benefits for humans, and since then TailRx has been hard to keep on the shelves. “TailRx works on humans as well because we are all mammals and share the same hair follicle structure,” Brunetti said.
